Design Kickoff Workshop

This is a unique opportunity for our community to come together, meet in a cohousing community developed by Ronaye Matthew’s Cohousing Development Consulting team during the covid pandemic, and begin shaping the physical framework of our future cohousing neighbourhood.

During the workshop, our professional team will present an update on the site feasibility study, and Cornerstone Architects will share their initial analysis and design recommendations. Members will then be invited to participate in an interactive design session, where we will collaboratively explore potential building arrangements, the programming of common spaces, and the placement of outdoor areas. Together, we’ll discuss our shared values and priorities, providing direct guidance to the professional team with the support of an experienced facilitator.

As a participant, you will have the chance to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the site—its opportunities as well as its challenges

  • Share your own aspirations and ideas for the community’s design

  • Actively contribute to shaping the place you will call home

Please note, this workshop is open exclusively to our community members. If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to consider becoming an Associate Member so you can join us for this formative step in our journey.

Your engagement and input are essential as we lay the foundation for a neighbourhood rooted in connection, collaboration, and shared purpose. We look forward to building this vision together.
